Hong Kong

Last year I was lucky enough to visit Hong kong as part of a bigger trip, and of course my camera came along with me. I spent 5 days taking in the sights and soundsand came away with a collection of photos I was really pleased with.

I focussed a lot of time on experimenting with the many vast building and angles available to me, everything seemed so busy and hectic at eye level, but as soon as you looked up or even just got away from street level, a whole world of possibilities opened up around me!  I also could not miss the chance to go to Stanley St and check out the multitude of camera shops! I’ve never seen so many in one place before!  Unfortunatley I was limited by space on this trip so could not lug around a tripod so no night photos this time, maybe I’ll just have to go back!

My favourite shots were taken in and around the financial district and are almost all architectural, apart from the goldfish in the pond outside the HSBC building!
